Wrapping up a 3 game road trip

This week, the Canadiens played 3 late night games, in Anaheim, San Jose and L.A. Coming off to a bad start on Wednesday night to a 4-1 loss to Ducks, who were 1 in 15, the Habs had a better outcome in their second dispute in San Jose. With a better effort, comes a better result, as seen on Thursday night against the sharks. Although the Canadiens fell short in shootouts, which doesn't seem to be Price's forte this season, they still managed to get a point in a 4-3 loss to San Jose. On Saturday, their road trip resulted as a .500 trip, getting 3 of the possible 6 points after a tight 2-1 win against the Kings.
Some less than thrilling news thrived from the Montreal press yesterday. After it being almost confirmed that Andrei Markov would make his ever so awaited return to the game on the 30th of November, on a defensive duo with Alexei Emelin, it seems Markov's absence will be prolongated. The Habs all-star defenceman will not be returning until possibly January, as he will be out for 3 to 5 weeks due to surgery on his right knee.
The Habs are looking to face Columbus on Tuesday, the Canucks on Thursday and the Devils in New Jersey on Saturday. Rejoice the fact that you can watch a hockey game at decent time, and not be up until 1:30 a.m. to watch them let a win slip in shootouts.

Bonne semaine
